General Summary



This position is responsible for maximizing Murata's market share and sales in targeted markets by identifying high-potential accounts and opportunities. Prioritizes and focuses resources on applications that maximize Murata’s return on investment.





Essential Job Responsibilities




  • Face of the company to accounts in assigned accounts or territory.

  • Drive sales growth and strategy by calling on assigned customers to promote products and technology, achieve design-ins, and achieve total customer satisfaction.

  • Documenting, maintenance, and refreshes of client relationship management (CRM) data in a timely manner.

  • Sample follow-up.

  • Approve design registrations.

  • Collaborate with partners, internal and external, to drive growth at new, target, and focus accounts within the responsible territory.

  • Follow and communicate market trends.

  • Work with the internal business development team to create Focus Opportunity strategies.

  • Forecasting.

  • Coordinates non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

  • Price Negotiations and margin management.

  • Manage Customer performance to forecast.

  • Communicates new pricing with overseas sales departments.

  • Lead Business Review meetings.






Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Hunter's mentality to close business opportunities. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • High proficiency in analytical and critical-thinking skills with strong business acumen.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including a strong ability to present information to all types of audiences.

  • Strong organizational, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and produce deliverables on time.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build internal and external relationships across multiple functions and levels. 






Travel



Frequent local and domestic travel.
